Terms of Service

Duvane provides software for managing residential estates and gated communities, including visitor gate-passes, dues and billing, resident records, maintenance and security tools. We may add, change or remove features to improve the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to represent your estate or organisation to open and manage an account.

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@duvane.app if you suspect any unauthorised use. Each estate is responsible for managing the roles and access it grants to its own managers, staff and residents.

Paid plans are billed in Nigerian Naira and may renew automatically for the plan period until cancelled. Payments may be made by the methods we support, which may include bank transfer, card and USSD. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Failure to pay may lead to suspension or termination of access.

Where we offer a free trial, it is provided as-is and may be changed or ended at any time. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, a paid plan may begin automatically where you have provided billing details.

The data an estate puts into Duvane belongs to that estate. Duvane processes it only to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell customer data or use resident data for advertising.

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

• Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights when using Duvane.
• Upload malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other accounts.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place unreasonable load on the service.
• Resell or provide the service to third parties without our written permission.

We work to keep Duvane available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates or events beyond our control may cause downtime. Support is provided through the channels described on our website.

Duvane and all related software, branding and content are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you; we grant only a limited right to use the service while your account is active and in good standing.

You may stop using Duvane and cancel your plan at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, overdue payments, or risks to the security of the service or its users. On termination, your right to use the service ends, and we handle your data as set out in our Privacy Policy.

To the extent permitted by law, Duvane is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Duvane after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
